Let Us Eat Cake
Let’s take a break from storytelling today, so I can give you: THE TASTING. Today Steve and I will travel up to Delaware … well, first we have to go to Pennsylvania where I’m having my hair trial. (Up or down? Ha ha.)
And THEN we go to Delaware, to our glorious old hotel where we’re having the wedding so we can taste and choose our wedding food. This place has this crazy baked brie with fruity jams, and I don’t even need to taste that, because, hey! Crazy baked brie! But I will taste it anyway.
I’m not someone who’s crazy about cake the way most people like cake. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. But today? CAAAAAAKE.

I'm the same way about sweets - I'm more of a salty snack kind of girl? But the idea of getting to taste all that cake? Mmmmm. Have a fantastic time!
Cake is my very one weakness. I usually prefer my crunchy salty snacks but cake does me in.
As a hairdresser and a former bride, I say wear it up. It will be out of your way and one less worry for you that day. Plus, do you realize how many people are going to be hugging and kissing you? Trust me, if it is down, it will get wrecked because of the drunk men that will hug you with no consideration for maintaining your "look."
Cake is probably my least favorite sweet - but my wedding cake was a strawberry shortcake and it was so tasty! Wish I had a piece now!
